Our friends at Ohio on Tap were featured in The Columbus Dispatch recently! The article gives recognition to the “Ohio on Tap” app, created by Brewers Marketing. Craft beer lovers around Ohio have downloaded the app and started to conquer the virtual passport – one of the most popular features of the app.
Justin Hemminger, deputy director of the Ohio Craft Brewers Association, which is headquartered in Columbus, said that an astounding 38,000 people have downloaded the app since its launch in May 2017.
Competitors can redeem various rewards as they sample craft beers and stamp their passports – climbing the leader board as well. Those who complete the challenge get a plaque, something that 18 people have already earned. Other reward options include a trucker hat, bar sign, Ohio flag, and an exclusive “Enthusiast Membership” package.
The popular app also features a map to easily see all participating breweries, tours, as well as detailed brewery pages that display location specifics such as hours of operation, description, beer, and special features.
If you’re in Ohio and love craft beer, give the app a download and try it out! Cheers!
